Batik Dragon T-Shirt made in Thailand for Namitatsu. Each t shirt is a handmade unique work of art. The shirts start out white, candle wax is then applied to create the dragon design. The tee shirts are then dyed with natural dyes to achieve an earthy brown, an indigo blue and an indigo black. Because of the use of natural dyes each shirts has an individual character, if you want standard rigid conformity this is not a shirt for you. Like your favorite blue jeans the shirts will fade a bit with time. My indigo blue shirt has been washed and dried (dryers are not recommended, but I’m lazy) a dozen times and it is still beautiful. It is an XL size and after the first time in the drier it shrunk about a half inch across the shoulders, it hasn’t shrunk since and is still easily XL in size. The label warns of color bleeding on to you and in the wash, before its first wash I was able to make the shirt bleed after that nothing, of coarse, your mileage may vary. These are very cool and unique shirts. As with anything cool and unique they are not intended for conformist yes men who live in a cookie cutter world. Be bold, No wave, No Life. –Namitatsu
